I've missed a cat payment, Do you over the'll come take my car before I can get the payment in? it's been 3 wks.
If you have only missed one, you can call them and barrow them you are sending payment. You should always call as soon as it is late and they work with you. You would probably have to miss at least 2 before they do anything drastic.
If it's been 3 weeks since the due appointment, then you had 10 days "grace" period. So you would only be 11 days dilatory. Send payment as soon as possible, and try to get in another really soon, too.
If it happens too often, it will hurt your recognition, so be careful and good luck!
What Is The Average Monthly Car Payment In The United States?

I'm annoying to figure out a reasonable price to pay for a family car.
I'm looking for the average monthly payment for a charter out and for a new car purchase.
I'm not looking for "gut feels" on what someone should spend. I'm looking for what the normal American does spend.
Also if there is published information from financial planners on a dominate of thumb (ie, 10% of monthly income) for prudent budgeting for car expense, it would be tremendous if someone would point to it.
If the data is available, I'm interested in large cars / trucks in adding to the average payment for any size car.

PRUDENT RULE OF THUMB
Your monthly car payment shouldn't exceed 8% of your monthly take in income. Less if you have other debt.
If this mean you can not by a good car at your income level. Buy a moped :-)
How Late On A Car Payment Can You Be Before They Report To The Credit Bureau?

It will be 20-25 days overdue before I can pay my car payment this month, does anyone know how long they wait before reporting to the credit bureaus? This is my transfer late payment, which was last month, but was only a couple days late. These two months are the only times we have fallen behind in the year and a half we have had the carrier. I appreciate any input you may have. Thanks!
i don't have in mind it will impact on your credit rating as far as your are paying the installments regularly.late payments and non payments are two numerous things. you may be charged extra for late payments or bounce of cheques and if you not pay these notably amount than it could be reported to the credit bureau.

My first car payment (for this car). Bank is morality across the byway someone's cup of tea - truly (ok, fist across a few streets, rather). So here we went. I pulled up, & noticed 2 of the 3 blinds were pulled at the move thru. Hmm. Well, perhaps 2 lanes weren't working. After all, the lights propitious the bank were on. And I swore I saw people exiting the principal admission. I sat there philosophy for a summary, all the while wrinkling my nose. I dunno. I was shambolic. So I Nautical port. Down the approach we went. Looking for the same bank, rare section. Why? I dunno. Ok. Never found another section, but found several other banks. Evident. Yes, undecided. People wealthy in & out, indicate thru lanes unsealed & occupied. Hmm. So see? The bank I attempted to pay my car payment at must have been unfenced. I compassion so. Back we went. Same to-do, number two verse. 2 of the 3 shades were still pulled at the operate thru. Hmm. By now I was getting frustrated - I proper wanted to pay my car payment. Stop by on people, occupation with me! Alright. Peradventure they are closed. I'll rightful end the darn item in the ATM contrivance. So, I got in border. While waiting for the car in front of me, I spotted a big, metal "Depository" box on the side of the structure. Ah hah! I can toss it in there. So, I backed out of the ATM Theatre sides (making those pulling in behind me catch to a close), hopped over the control (or, 2) & pulled up in front of the Depository box. I tugged. And pulled. And yanked. And fiddled with it. And pulled some more. And simply, according to my 8 1/2 year old, somewhere along the way I screamed "this is crap!" For whatever conclude, the dang box was locked. So, I then got back in the ATM hint cord & waited. And waited. And waited. I reasonable wanted to pay my car payment. Today. Ah hah! Shelved! The pressurize! Doubtlessly the front foyer, which is uncrowded because it houses another ATM (I estimate 2 machines front isn't enough), would have a jilt box & I could jiggle my car payment in it! WOOHOO! Oh boy.
