I am a college learner looking to open a credit card. What are the best rates and cards targeted towards students? Do they accept applications even with crumb or no credit?
 The Citi Aid card and Citi mtvU cards are both great reward cards for college students. They advance 5% rewards in spending categories like restaurants, movie theaters, rules stores, etc.
The Discover Student card has decent cash back rewards too.

I Want To Consolidate My Credit Cards Debt And Get Rid Of High Interst Rates. What Is The Best Way To Do This? |

I have 4 credit cards with approx. $25,000.00 value of debt on them. I would like to get ahold of a non-profit debt counseling service in arrangement to get rid of the high interest rates and pay them off alot sooner instead of only paying the interest and the over the limit fees. I have not hardened these cards for the past 5-6 years and the accounts are closed except for me making payments on them. I am not even stirring the actual principal that I owe, although, I have probably paid enough on these cards to have actually paid off the actual master. How is the best way to do this and what are some reputalbe non-profit agencies that will help achieve this? I have also heard that some credit cards will take a settlement on some accounts. Is this a accomplished idea and how much of the amount owed do they usually want? I realize that this may hurt my credit rating but to be square-shooting with you it isn't worth squat now, so what is the difference? Does the debt consolidation hurt your credit as well?

Can Anyone Share Their Opinions On Which Prepaid Credit Cards Are Best To Purchase? |

I am distressing to avoid the bank's overdraft scams and I think the only way to get a handle on my finances is to go with the prepaid cards. I be sure that any fees connected to a prepaid credit/debit card is way better than the high bank fees, but still have a yen for to go for the best card at the best rate. Anyone have any good experiences or bad with prepaid credit cards? Can you load it by calling in your bank info? I've never old any of these and don't know the first thing about it. I would appreciate some information!
I'd coincide that the Wal Mart card may be a good one for people. I personally try to look for other alternatives to Wal Mart (for most things), and recently got a Readydebit Visa prepaid liable act. For those of you limited business owners that manually run customer credit cards what is the best way to securely store this information? The days of storing this on an top spreadsheet are gone. Are there any applications that can encrypt this date?
Let me add some details since there is a little bedlam. We run a business that bills the customer on a monthly subscription basis so this is why the card stays on rank. So the main question is what is the most secure way to store this information electronically?

Tell them, that you are looking to cancel the card, and that all you want to do is cancel the account, and get the authority paid off, and ask them to work with you directly in lowering your APR, and see what they say. The worst that can happen is for them to say No. The best thing that can materialize is that they will lower you APR, and lock your balance, so that you can get the cards paid off. I know it sucks, but it works. Execute in there! Your not the only one in this boat!
