Does Anyone Have Advice For The "pay No Interest For A Year" Credit Card Promotions (Sears Card)?

I have no monthly amounts due with my card, but am planning on paying the whole compensate for off at least 3 months before the promotional period ends.
Does anyone have any nightmare stories about paying their card off pioneer, but still getting screwed somehow?
Do the accruing finance charges just disappear if you get the scales paid off in full and on time?
Your greatest bet is to plan 10 or 11 equal payments - and get it all paid off in less than 12 months. Don't respite until it gets closer to time, make gradual payments and plan on paying it off no later than the 11th month.
I still use 12 months same as moolah when it is offered, even when I have money on hand. It just seems like a decent way to maintain/seat credit, and space out payments.
The finance charges go away if you pay on time - but they will hit you hard if you don't.
You Know Those Blank Checks You Sometimes Get With Credit Card Promotions?

I did some grocery shopping for a lady I hoover for and she reimbursed me with one of those checks. I told her it was a bad idea, but she doesn't have the money in her bank account to pay me back. She is living on impotence and already deep in debt as she has to pay for a lot of her medications out of pocket. She thinks that by paying with one of those checks it will only show up as a charge on her credit card. I don't distinguish enough about it to explain to her that this is not the case. Can you tell me what will happen if I cash this check?
The promotion was 0% on existing balances until Oct. '09.

(She can barely make the minimum payment on a $12,000 balance if that makes any imbalance.)
So, if I cash this check is she going to get slammed with an outrageous interest rate once the promotion ends?
She does have an existing account.
first off those checks have been issued hoping you will use them. They are not like moolah, they have a charge on each one if you use it as well as the interest rate being outrageous unless you use them as a transfer tool.
I make it a predisposition to shred each and every one of them as they come to me, they are a tool of the devil and the devil shall be called Credit Prone out to Those Who Cannot Handle it.

Also... keep in rake over the coals I don't have any credit.
Also, I don't want to have to pay a minimum finance fee and would prefer that their is no annual fee.
If you have (or are single for) a Navy Federal Credit Union account (you are if you're a family member of a Sailor), then I'd propose applying for a credit card through them. Interest rates are as low as they come (mine is 10.5% APR) and there are no annual fees. Right now on Flotilla Federal's website their lowest credit card interest rate is at 8.9%. Most other cards have interest rates ranging from 14%-33%.
As with many other things, being united with the military can give you some perks... always ask for military discounts/rates. Many companies/organizations bestow their discounts or special offers to family members.

I have a few credit cards. Most give low credit lines. I cognizant of that mostly, your credit limit is based on your credit. But there are some cards that give higher credit limits then others do. I had a friend who wanted to consolidate her credit cards, by determination a card (w/a higher limit) to transfer her balances to. Leaving her to only owe on one credit card. She lucked up & had someone tell her about a credit nurse b like that they had gotten a $12,000 limit on. She applied & was approved for a $6,000 limit w/ a 1.9 % APR intro propose, for several months. She took advantage of this & got herself caught up & lowered her payments. Unfortunately, I haven verbal to her in while & don't know what credit card company that was. I'd like to find the same type. A credit card (w/no annual fee), that gives out higher credit limits. An intro APR wld be refined 2. Do you know of any? Thank you!

Sometimes I saw "bank representatives" reputation considerable age behind a kiosk in a Mall or a big shopping center (Say, a CIBC people in Metrotown, Coquitlam Focus...). They said they are doing credit cards promotions and applying via them will be faster and easier to get a card... something like this...
I am wondering are they Bona fide bank people? Or just fraud criminals?
