Is There A Credit Card That Offers A 0% Cash Advance As A Special Offer?
Jun 04, 2009 by norton2628 | Posted in Credit
I neediness a loan pretty much. I am trying to get an apt. I was denied for two personal loans because of not having an "fitted income". I am trying to get 2,500 dollars. I could pay it back as I work full period. I have relatively good credit too! I need some help. Please don't answer me with a "scam". I won't react to it and I'm sick of scams.
norton2628, Try m a friend or family member first. If you don't have that option, I've heard good things about this milieu. http://www.howtogetcashadvance.com
I received this offer (to be specified, I get 5 points back on airfare, hotel, and rental purchases), in the mail. I applied, and made a few of those purchases. I got my annunciation today, and didn't see the points apply. When will I see the benefit (if anyone knows)? Thanks in move.
I have the same program and it sometimes takes a four of billing statements for the points to show up. That is because they want to make certain that you don't return an matter and that you pay your bill before they credit your point account. It is in the very, tiny, fine print on the offer.
Credit Card & Bank Keep Sending Me "special Offers" In The Form Of Checks?
Jun 15, 2009 by Erin | Posted in Credit
I most often file them away. I know that by cashing them I agree to some worthless subscription or "employ". I have over $70 in checks this week. Is it safe to cash them, then cancel right-hand away like they say it is?
Christ. This forum is worthless when people don't read the condemn question!!!
I am asking if it is OK to cash these checks, then call the number provided to cancel.
I don't punctiliousness that I get sent junkmail. I need it to start fires in the winter.
If they are included with concrete from your credit card company or bank, then at least you can feel a little more comfy that they are not some nigerian scam spam, equitable regular spam lol. (most of those probably come from Trilegiant/Cenant)
If you moolah the checks, be sure to keep a detailed log of exactly what you do, ie. date you cash them, amount, services that are provided, terms & conditions of cashing the tick, date you call to cancel services, name of person you spoke with to cancel, etc.
You should also immediately send a keep up with up letter by USPS to confirm your cancellation.
If you eventually get tired of the inserts you obtain from your creditors, opt out with the creditors and opt out with those companies that send those checks.
I've cashed a few of those checks myself, profit is money.
I've never had any problems by cancelling by phone and following up with a confimation letter, though I do be sure some people have seen charges on their accounts after the service was cancelled.
A phone call to the creditor by cleared up the charge though.
Just be sure to keep an eye on the card accounts that had those inserts - never trust em.

It's achievable that since Trilegiant/Cendant lost a huge class action lately, that they may not be as smarmy in making unsanctioned charges on a persons credit card after the person had cancelled their services.
I Was Sent A Credit Card From Capital1 When I Was Under 18. Is It Illegal To Post Anything On My Creditreport?
Feb 22, 2007 by Samantha L | Posted in Credit
I recently tried to accounting a car (knowing that my credit wasn't great), and was crushed to find out that not only wasn't it great but I fell into some group called "double 0". So when the dealer asked me "what happened?" I told him that I received a "special credit card come forward" from capital one when I was 16! He then told me that it was illegal for the credit card companies to post any epitome of credit ratings on my credit report since I was under 18 at the time. He also told me I should contact the Attorney Generals shtick indulgence and notify them of this. I checked my credit report and it is listed on there as "Account Opened in 2001" (when I was 16!) Basically all I in need of to know is there some truth to this? I also want to know if it would be wiped off my credit report if I did notify the Attorney Indefinite. Please let me know
Thanks
Samantha
While you by can't be held responsible for a credit card issued to you as a minor, if you continued to use it or make any payments on it after you turned 18, that constitutes a enquire of ratification of the debt. In that case, you are both responsible for the debt AND it can go into your credit report back to the issue rendezvous.
