Stafford loans are based on return right? If I don't get any government aid, what is the best loan for me if I have somewhat bad credit. I need something with a low interest rate. My tuition is thriving to be about 21,000 a year. I am also an undergrad student.

No, Stafford loans are not based on gains or credit. That's why the Stafford lending program is such an important part of the financial aid system, and why so many students rely on them.
To become available for a Stafford loan, all you need to do is complete the Free Application for Federal Critic Aid, better known as the FAFSA. You will only be denied a Stafford loan if:
You are not a "unmitigated" student (as opposed to conditionally enrolled)
You are not working on a degree or certification granted by your Lyceum
Your school is not a participant in the federal student aid program
You are not a US citizen, or eligible non-householder
You are in default on a previous federal student aid loan
You owe an overpayment on previous federal admirer aid
You were convicted of certain drug offenses that occurred while you were receiving federal swot aid.
If none of those things apply to you, you will automatically be offered an opportunity to borrow from the Stafford lending program. The apprehend is that the Stafford program has annual borrowing limits.
A financial aid dependent freshman can sponge a maximum of $5500 for the entire academic year. Sophomores can borrow $6500, and juniors and seniors can draw up to $7500.
The Stafford loan has THE lowest interest rate of any educational loan (other than the Perkins, which is only offered to the neediest of fiscal aid applicants). You'll pay a 6.8% fixed rate for the entire life of the loan - and you'll have 10 years to recompense. The repayment obligation does not begin until 6 months after you leave school.
The Stafford industriousness asks no questions about your income, your debts or your credit history, and the loan is entirely in your name. There are no questions about your parents, and you will never be asked for a cosigner.
The oversight offers another lending program that complements the Stafford, the PLUS loan program, but that program is only elbow to the parents of undergraduates. If your parents are looking for a way to help you with the costs of school, they can bum up to the full cost of your attendance with a PLUS loan. The PLUS program is different in that it IS a credit-and-takings loan - your parents' application would be subjected to traditional lending analysis, to upon whether they qualify for the loan.
If the Stafford (and possibly the PLUS) is not going to solve your monetary need, you have a significant problem. The only other type of loan is the so-called "sneakily" or "alternative" loan - educational loans that are offered by banks fa of the government's programs. First of all, these loans are almost always far more expensive, with higher interest rates and higher fees, assistant of all, these loans are all credit-and-income loans, which are only approved for applicants who can satisfy the bank's conservative lending criteria, and for ever, there are a small handful of banks that are still making this kind of loan at the present mores. If you go to Chase or Citi or Wells Fargo, it is nearly 100% likely that you will be required to take under one's wing a cosigner if you are going to be approved for a "private" educational advance.

i have very inadequate credit, nor am i old enough to quilify as an independant for finicial aid (23 years old!), and when i did apply with my parents message i did not recieve a penny. basically my REAL question is what are the best private loan companies that are assenting to give to a person with bad credit?
even if they have high interest rates would be fine.
I'm baffled why you are not proper for either the Stafford or Perkins programs. To the best of my knowledge, neither requires a credit check.
If you really do have bad credit (at 23) and absolutely have been turned down for all available student loan sources, then you're pretty much faced with one election: work for it and save up.

My cat-house free was robbed and all my jewellery and money stolen a couple of years ago.
I was about to run a small national business with the money and assets i had saved doing security work.
As I didnt have security, I got into debt and had to move so I didnt get hit again.
Now I have bad credit, is there anyway I can get a loan with bad credit???
I only need a small credit card to help me cook things.
I am now trying to run a business again, but dont nearly have the start or the credit ratings as i beforehand did,
I am still a student and was hoping to run a business in my part-time.
I am still making about 50-100% profit per month gross revenue from my money and business.
With this type of turnover even a small loan of 1-2k would propagate my business exponentially.
Even 10-20% p.a would be nothing for me to juggle around.
I know it takes money to assign money but I cant seem to get over that 1k-2k hill to start my business growing exponentially.
Any tips other than qualifying or selling my assets?
This what people do not get, Preserve YOUR CREDIT RATING because it will haunt you for years to come.
In your case you need a card so you can "falsify" things, what does that mean? So you can run it to the limit and get into more trouble with credit.
If you haven't the legal tender YET to start up your own business you go out and work for someone else until you do have some money and then if you reallllllly, realllllly want it bad enough get another job and bail someone out money.
Good luck but depend on your own work to get you going NOT credit cards.
