CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND Loans For College Students With Bad Credit?

Can someone take to task me where to get a loan when federal funding is not enough. I have bad credit. But peole with bad credit need additional loans for school too.
Erika:
Here's the tough nut to crack with your plan:
By your own admission, you have "bad credit". I'm assuming that means that you've borrowed some moolah in the past, probably credit card debt, and had some problems paying it all back. Maybe you were firmly late, maybe you've had charge offs - "bad credit" could effective anything, really, but it almost certainly means that your previous creditors wouldn't highly approve you to student lenders.
That's a problem - and you know that's a problem - but you're not facing up to how much of a problem that is at this exacting point in time.
I know you've read and heard about the worldwide banking and lending danger. Right here in the US, some of our largest banks have needed to turn to the federal government for billion dollar bailouts. Why? Because they didn't take characteristic care of their money over the last few years.
They didn't leave it on the street corner or put it in a box somewhere and neglect doing where they left it - they lent it - over and over again - to people with - let's say - 'bad credit', like you.
Instead of applying their habitual, conservative analysis to loan applications, the lenders got greedy, and lightened up on their standards. They made gazillions of dollars of shield loans to people who couldn't really afford the monthly payment - and they made lots and lots of quiet student loans to people with no jobs, no assets, and spotty or non-existent credit histories.
It's way too not any, and way too late, but guess what? The lenders finally remembered how they used to make loans. No more loans to people who don't right now the traditional picture of a borrower who has a pretty darned good chance of in point of fact paying the loan back.
Very few lenders are even MAKING student loans right now - all of the specialty lenders like Astrive and Campus Door and My Mellifluous Uncle and Next Student all closed down shop, and abandoned the private loan marketplace.
You will not find a bad credit educative loan from a legitimate lender. In fact, if you had good credit, you'd have a hard time declaration a private educational loan.
I realize that puts you on the spot, but your need and the bank's area model are two entirely different things. If you have a really outstanding cosigner office-seeker, you will be approved for this type of loan. If not, then you're just not going to be able to afford this noteworthy school at this particular time. Your only options will be to take some time off and save, or choose a less overpriced school that your federal aid will cover.
I'm sorry to sound harsh, but I'm being truthful. There are no bad credit tutoring loans from legitimate lenders at the present time.

what are bad credit admirer loan no cosigner ? is this helpful to to getting loans if people is bad credit history or poor credit experiences?
A co-signer is a inferior merchandise person who guarantees to pay off the loan and commonly starts to become involved when the primary borrower does not have any or a financially embarrassed credit history, students most often have few or no credit cards, no vehicle loans and very rarely a house mortgage loan, as a consequence he or she have mini or no credit history and as is the circumstance with a range of us in our youth, they could possibly have made a few unwise choices, he or she could have gone over and above what they could Deo volente pay back on a credit card and even been irresponsible about commencing repayments.

Well, I'm in a two-year status program at the local community college, but need to take out a student loan for a computer and books. I'm 20 years old, married, and out of work at the time (seven and a half months pregnant). My husband is only 19, and hasn't been at his job for longer than three months (although he's been firmly employed for the past year and a half). Parents as cosigners is not an selection- so any advice?
Well, I got a grant, but it's simply not enough. Thanks for the suggestions- I'll definately check them out!
You requirement to apply for Stafford Loans subsidized or unsubsidized, either would be better than a private loan. I don't rescind they require cosigners. Here is the link regarding min and maximum loan amounts. You prob lawful need to talk to the fin aid office and tell them you want one or to increase the loan you have. I wouldn't go through Pursue or a private lender, interest rates will be higher and fees will be more.

Does anyone certain of any websites that offer student loans for people with bad credit, without needing a co-signer? Or other federal loans where it doesn't concern what your credit score is. I could maybe get my dad to be a co-signer, but I want to try it on my own first. And don't say scholarships/grants cause I already have the FAFSA filled out, and I'm also getting both the Stafford loans, Perkins with an increment of I have the Pell grant and a couple others I believe. And I don't like scholarships, writing essays on property I don't care about is not my thing. But I need to be able to cover about another $1,000 or so.. otherwise I'll have to pay about $114 a month and I don't want to do that, so I wanted to take a allowance out for a couple thousand. And I don't want to be able to pay it back til after I'm out of school which will be December 2008.
and I don't want any of those fraudulent websites for cash advances and what not. I want real sites where I can defer the payments til I graduate.
You should fitting have ur dad co-sign or just pay 114 a month its not that much money u have a job right.
