What States Have License Requirements For Mortgage Brokers Offering Mortgage Loan Modification Services?
Apr 06, 2009 by contingentlaw | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
I am worrisome to find out if real estate professionals offering to help homeowners with mortgage loan modifications have to be licensed or otherwise regulated by authority requirements?
Do they really provide the same services provided for free from the government (saw this on tv news show tonight)?.
They are all scams anyway. Anyone powerful you otherwise is trying to con you themselves.
You can do this yourself, just ask your bank for the modification package.
I Currently Have An Adjustable Rate Mortgage Loan And Would Like To Set A Fixed Rate ?
Oct 25, 2008 by jose | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
I have heard on the news that we can sue our lender for a fixed rate. They also gave a phone number to a place called, Homeowners Consistency Foundation whom I talked to, and they say they charge $2500.00 to help you because they work with lawyers that pinch the process move faster. But they do not guarantee results. Can anyone give me some insight or suggestions?
Stop away from this HUF outfit. Sounds like a rip off.
Read your mortgage documents. Some have a clause that you can transmogrify for a fee (usually 1%). If so, contact the lender and ask what you need to do to accomplish this.
If you don't have this clause, you can still ask them to transform it. There may be more fees as it will actually be a refinance.
Anyone See That Dodd May Be In Trouble With A Personal Mortgage Loan?

Last endlessly on the news it was stated that there are allegations against Dodd about getting favors when he remortgaged two properties he owns...he is so far refusing to construct over the paper work on that loan.
Barney Unreserved is to blame too. It amazes me that Democrats destroyed our economy yet they are reaping the rewards.
Now we have Obama as Captain of this Get out of Fools.
America went Stupid on November 4th.
We are in deep Doo Doo!
I Have An ARM Mortgage Loan That Is Set To Expire In August?
Jun 05, 2008 by Stephanie C | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
We tried to refinance and our appraisal came back crop that what we owe on the house so they said we were out of luck.
The only piece of good news was that I don't have a pre payment penalty if I went somewhere else.
I'm positively nervous because I can't afford for my payments to go up. Any suggestions.
You cannot refinance, even somewhere else if you owe more than your concert-hall is now worth, according to the appraisal. For example if you owe 200,000 and the house is now worth 175,000, you are not affluent to be able to refinance the whole amount.
I agree to check your paper work and see the terms of your around loan and hope that things change before August.
