Can Someone Tell Me What To Do To Applying For A VA Loan? |

I am old hand and I never have used any of my military benefits and I want to buy a house now. I talk a mortage Pty already but I was told to try and use my VA loan instead.
Please with a local lender/broker in your area. Your first question should be: "Do you do VA loans, and if so, may I engaged to your senior loan officer". The only difference in VA loans is that they are backed by the superintendence, qualifying is less demanding, and interest rates are favorable. There are specific guidelines you must adhere to (get those upfront), but habitually, they are no different from other loans. A little more paperwork for the lender, but that is what you are paying them to do. Out-of-pocket costs on average are also less.

The documents ask if I completely or indirectly had these foreclosures after asking a simular question for 'in the last 7 years. Will they generally reject for a loan my husband and I had through VA more than 20 years ago. should i just say no to the question?

I got out of the military 4 months ago (honorable unload), but Im a few years from buying my first house, but I know that I need a certificate of eligibility for the VA loan. Should this be only done when Im adroit to buy a home? Or can I apply for eligibility even though Im about 5-6 years away from being able to buy a severely? How long does the certificate last?
Go to VA and get a Certificate of eligibility. It will hurry the process. I got out of the Corps 1993 and just bought a house last year. This makes it about 14 years and some substitute. Also they(VA) will require that the house be inspected.
Make Sure you get a fixed rate Mortgage. You can always Refinance when the rates pinch.As far as the Cert. I dont know how long it is good for. Some Loan Places will help you with that part and sometimes all you will do is unusual the paperwork. Also check with your state some have extra Benifits ( Texas) Vet land bequest.

My Dad Is Applying For A VA Loan, He Is Older And If Something Were To Happen To Him, Va Loan Says I Can't? |

pay his loan off unless I am his spouse or a Co-Borrower, I don't differentiate if I should be a Co-Borrower b/c my Credit is Bad. Does that affect the loan? Also Va says that we can purchase a Mortgage entity insurance but how much is that and do they ask alot of ?'s Please answer I need Advice! Thank you!!!!!
I don't contemplate that the lender of the VA loan your father is applying for care who pays off the mortgage loan if something happen to him.
He would not be here, if the family wanted to keep his clan someone would have to pay it off.
You should check with your mortgage loan officer for a clarification of that statement.
If something does, you would have to go to probate court unless he fix a family trust naming you as the executor of his estate. He could do the same thing with a will, but a family credibility is better as a trust would prevent you from going through probate.
Now is something was to happen to your father who would the VA presume to pay off the mortgage loan?
Your father might purchase a mortgage life insurance that would pay off his mortgage if something happens to him. There are several companies that do this so store around for the best deal for you and your father.
Your credit would not be a factor in your father getting a VA mortgage loan as only his better half would be able to be on the mortgage with him. Va does not allow go-signers or borrowers unless they are the spouse.

We applied for a VA loan which requires military / information. When we received the information the details were wrong. Our closing date was extended to adjust the lengthy VA loan process. With only a couple weeks left until the closing date we are worried about another extension. This is very frustrating and I would like to know if there is a speedy way to get the information we need for this loan. What would/did you do when this happened to you?
It in reality all depends on what was wrong on the record. We used my husband's VA loan to buy our house in January and it only took 21 days from the span we made the offer till the day we closed and that included 2 holidays (christmas and new years)
